Casa Laurana is located in a peaceful residential area just 45 minutes drive from Malaga Airport. The Urbanisation of El Saladillo is one of the longest established developments on the coast. It’s tranquil setting is in a beautifully unspoiled part of the Costa del Sol, yet it is less than ten minutes drive west to Estepona (10km). Heading east it is less than 5 minutes to San Pedro (3km), 10 minutes to Puerto Banus and only 15 minutes to Marbella.

Set against the backdrop of the Sierra Blanca and the Sierra de los Nieves, this area has the very best climate in Europe. It’s location is ideal for exploring both the coastal & mountain villages of Andalucía. The beautiful White Villages are all within easy driving distance. The historical Rock of Gibraltar is just a 35 minute drive away.

In the immediate locality, Cancelada, a typically quaint Spanish town, renowned for its several excellent restaurants (inexpensive by English standards) is minutes away. A small market is held there every Friday morning providing an opportunity to purchase excellent fruit and veg. The local areas of Benemara and Benavista have lots to offer in the way of bars, restaurants and shops which are all within a ten minute walk.

Selwo Nature Reserve is five minutes drive away. There are numerous Water Sports available nearby at Mistral Beach between San Pedro and Puerto Banus. For the golfer, the location is a paradise with many wonderful top quality courses to choose from in the surrounding area.

It is a short 100 metre stroll to the lovely long, wide beach. This beach does not get too overcrowded, even in the high season. There is a paved promenade for leisurely beachside walks west in the direction of Estepona. Alternatively, you can walk along the water’s edge east towards San Pedro and Puerto Banus.
